The holidays are here folks, and between the freezing cold weather and the throngs of elbow-throwing last-minute holiday shoppers, we’re content to enjoy the season from the comfort of our couches. And if you’re like us, you’ll need something to throw on the TV during these cold days (aside from the looping Yule Log or another session of A Charlie Brown Christmas).

Jingle All The Way

Jingle All The Way features America’s favorite bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The hero’s plight in this film is one we can all sympathize with: Trying to find the hottest Christmas toy on the market just days before the presents are unwrapped. With a great supporting cast (Phil Hartman of SNL fame and Sinbad of…well, Sinbad fame), Jingle All The Way breaks through its apparent glorification of holiday materialism and digs deep into what truly matters during the holidays.

A Rugrats Chanukah

The season of Chanukah (or Hanukkah) isn’t well represented in the film department, but that doesn’t mean that those interested in the Jewish holiday have nothing to watch.

Surprisingly, A Rugrats Chanukah does justice to the season better than almost any other telling with its Chanukah-themed episode, first airing in 1996.
